MAHATMA: 'Perseverance' To Receive European Release Through LISTENABLE
November 20, 2007Korea's MAHATMA will have its new album, "Perseverance", released in Europe on January 29, 2008 through France's Listenable Records.
"Perseverance" clocks in at almost an hour and contains a total of 11 songs, including a cover of JUDAS PRIEST's "Painkiller". It is available on luxurious digipack format.
Formed in 1993, MAHATMA has shown a great enthusiasm for having pushed the music barriers in their own country and still generating such great music in 2007. Melodic with a lot of dynamics, "Perseverance" will please fans of EXODUS, DEATH ANGEL and generally lovers of the much-talked-about '80s Bay Area thrash genre!
MAHATMA's leader Jong Kap Yun (guitar, vocals) commented: "We are very enthusiastic to have the opportunity to work with Listenable Records. They are releasing high caliber metal music that we all love that's why we are very pleased that they will handle the distribution of our newest album in Europe. We will be working harder to meet their expectations."
MAHATMA is currently in the process of shooting a music video for the song "Falling to Hell". It is expected to be ready for release in January.
